April 16 Retail sales are up 6.5% Y/Y and at an annualized rate of 10.4% in Q1, writes Brian Wesbury, taking a closer look at this morning's report. Excluding autos, gas, and building materials, annualized sales are up 8.1% in Q1, showing the gains are broad-based. It can't all just be about the weather?
