I think Anderoid has great potential to overtake Iphone and Blackberry specially If they focus in Asia. Asia specially India is a huge market and If google keeps things right it can overtake less impressive IPhone in India ReplyDon't Close the Line on Nokia Just Yet [view article]
Insider news...Nokia going through a series of cost-cutting measures, including a global travel ban for many months. ReplyStaples

It's so odd to me. when DNDN spiked into the 20's i remember peopleposting that they couldn't short the stock anymore, their broker didn't have and couldn't find anymore shares to short for their clients. I guess things have changed a little bit since than. What would happen in todays market, ok before 5 days ago, when naked short selling was allowed.
what would have happened. I'm lost on this one as usual.

Stocks Potentially Impacted by SEC's Enforcement of Regulation SHO [view article]
It is one thing to state an intention to enforce a rule - and quite another to do it. The SEC has ignored its own disciplinary threats before. Often, it is not investors trying to manipulate stocks, but brokers themselves so the SEC has full authority to obtain compliance with SHO if they choose to do so. With considerable skepticism, time will tell. ReplyPalm Moves Over 1 Million Smartphones, Still a Way To Go [view article]
I agree that palm has to improve their differentiated industrial design but above that they need to give some mobile internet solution to their usres such as jmise.mobi or other portal.gg Reply

Didn't anyone see McCain on TV criticizing the SEC chairman, saying he'd fire him? Kind of funny, one of your own voting tribe and he acts like hes above his own party. ReplyPalm Moves Over 1 Million Smartphones, Still a Way To Go [view article]
It's unknown. PALM needs a new, differentiated industrial design that is clearly different from the Treo. Look at HTC and what they've done in terms of design differentiation on MSFT OS. Until they do that - and do it with a great design - they are not something to buy. Replyps

This article and the sheeple that buy into it are all GARBAGE! As I believe the rock group, The Who, exhorted, "And we won't be fooled again!"The powers that be are playing everyone for SUCKERS and doing it very well... I won't take THAT away from them.
The massive financial cover-up is a real joke that is being foisted on the stupid people of the world who have no understanding of the depth of the problems. What about the 375 TRILLION in derivatives that are floating in the world and are about to expire, WORTHLESS!?!
Get out the champaign and celebrate denial! In '29 the same junk was told to the people, even AFTER the market initially crashed... "We have strong economic fundamentals..." BULLS**T!!!
This author ought to be given 20 lashes with some fiat paper... we all know there is plenty around!...
I am so taken aback at what is presently going on that I must give Bush, the PPT, the media and all the other people and groups that make up the cabal that is destroying the world's economy... tons of credit for their efforts and I also give the American people an "F" for their stupidity and greed which allows them to bask in, temporarily enjoy and fall for such utter nonsense!!! The idea that short sales are an appropriate component of establishing stock prices is purest BS. Short selling is essentially printing counterfeit stock - particularly when the SEC doesn't have the stones to punish it when done illegaly. If I own a stock and am willing to wait out a problem it is not right that someone who does not own the stock is allowed to sell mine and drive my value down. Can McCain dump Palin and put Paulson in her place? He obviously is the most powerful person on the planet.Months ago he recommended a set of regulatory changes which were ignored. When all is said and done, he may actually make money for the taxpayer on this mess - until the Treasury stepped up to buy artifically deflated mortgage securities at a discount the only seriously interested party that I have seen was PIMCO. With all of the panic selling there is value for a discerning buyer. Reply
